About the Principal
Miss Jess took her first dance class at the age of 3, from there progressed through graded examinations in tap and modern under the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and also ballet exams under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. After leaving school, she went on to complete a performing arts course at Wiltshire college. At 18, Jess took up full-time dance training at Dance Academy South West, where she studied classes in Hip-hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, American Tap & Musical Theatre and gained her I.S.T.D teaching qualifications.
Jess has achieved the Certificate in Dance Education teacher status and now teaches in locations around Wiltshire, Bristol and South Gloucestershire. She has been the acting principal of Classique Academy of Dance for the past two years.
Jess loves teaching both children and adults and has been pleased to see excellent exam results from her students.
Teachers
Miss Georgina has been dancing since the age of 5, throughout the years she has competed in competitions in England and Wales as part of a troupe. She then went on to study GCSE dance. At the age of 16 she then went on to study at Dance Academy South West where she has recently completed a two year professional dance training course where she studied ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, hip hop, jazz and musical theatre, combining these genres in annual shows. She is now in her third year completing her teaching DDI and DDE teaching qualifications.
Miss Georgina also teaches in other academies around Wiltshire and thoroughly enjoys teaching both children and adults.
